Help Others. Help Yourself.

We are excited to introduce a new partnership that will help fund YWCA Metropolitan Chicago’s Economic Empowerment Program. We are partnering with GoHYHO, which stands for Go Help Yourself Help Others (www.GoHYHO.com), in a new initiative to connect great consumer deals with charitable giving opportunities.

Here’s How it Works: GoHYHO is a new way to fund and follow nonprofits in local communities. Rather than collecting traditional donations, GoHYHO features local business deals and builds in an opportunity for users to donate to nonprofits. Every time you purchase a deal, 10% of the purchase price supports one of five local nonprofits. You’ll be able to select which organization you want to support with each purchase – and we hope you choose the YWCA! In exchange, the nonprofit that receives your donation will provide detailed updates to you on how the donation is used and the impact it creates in the community. GoHYHO won’t email those updates. Instead, updates will be posted to your profile page on GoHYHO. So every time you login, you’ll be able to view the latest information on your donations.

In addition, you’ll earn badges for achieving certain milestones on GoHYHO, such as hitting various donation thresholds. These badges will appear on your profile page’s mantle, and you can share them via Facebook.

Each nonprofit featured on GoHYHO designates a specific project or program area to receive funding. The YWCA has selected our Economic Empowerment Services program to receive direct donations from GoHYHO users. We will provide you with updates on goals and milestones reached by our Economic Empowerment members, success stories and new projects – all made possible by simply selecting the YWCA when you make a purchase.

As someone who has supported YWCA Metropolitan Chicago in the past, we would like to encourage you to join GoHYHO and select the YWCA to receive 10% of your purchases. GoHYHO is an easy way to support local causes like ours while buying things from local businesses that you’ll love.

Please go to www.GoHYHO.com to sign up. Thank you for your continued support of YWCA Metropolitan Chicago!
